On September 12, Bard and West Point students, cadets and faculty engaged in a public debate at Bard College. The resolution was: drones do more good than harm. The affirmative and negative sides were comprised of a mix of Bard and West Point participants.

The debate was made possible by the Center for Civic Engagement, Bard Debate Union, Human Rights Project, Bard-West Point Exchange, and the Center for the Study of the Drone.

The positions adopted by the participants were for the purposes of the debate only. The views expressed in this recording do not necessarily reflect the opinion of any particular participant, the official policy or position of Bard College, the United States Military Academy, the Department of the Army, the Department of Defense, or the United States government.
